help please beardie bath

hi people,i was given my 3and a half month old beardie a bath i have done my research have my temps everything spot on.just wondering should i be scared?i was given my beardie a bath for the 3rd time and when i was putting him in he didnt wanna go in at all and it was 38 degrees celcius(the water).and his belly blew up like a balloon i was really scared but it only lasted 10 second or so no longer than 15 and it went back to normal then and still is normal now,do you guys wreakin it was to hot or do they do this ever?thanks

This is normal they usully put up a fight at bath time. Try either just keeping you hand under him so he doesnt think he is going to drown or you can put a wash cloth in there. Eventully as he gets older he will adjust to bath tiem and not be so fussy about it. They offten blow themselves up so they like float, he prolly just a lil scared.

Also sorry I dont have a converstion chart to know if that is too hot but it should be like baby bath water, not too hot a little over luke warm.

I agree with the above statement. But I was also thinking maby your beardie is a bit suprized by his bath and startles a little bit. Go slowly when putting him in the bath.

When Judah was small I use to try and wash him in a little tub, and he would put up such a huge fight about it. I finally started giving him his baths in the kitchen sink so he couldnt jump out. He has gotten more use to it now but there are still occasions that he just doesnt want to be in there and keeps trying to jump out. So its normal and they offten do put up a fuss.

I have one dragon that loves a bath and one that hates it. You just never know.
The little thing is probably still a bit skittish over the bath thing.
