Okay, so I rescued Blaze on wednesday. Saw him on craigslist. They ha him only eating lettuce and crickets. Coil UVB on top of screen and his tank was filthy and crowed and it was only a 20 gallon! He's an adult. Good size. Have (pics in other thread Lump in Chest!)
Well I cleaned his tank with bleach and blah blah and good stuff well you could tell they had sand at one time( had repticarpet when I came and picked him up). His previous owner bred mice and let them roam free in the house. Well anyways back to the sand.. He's got some dye evidence on his scales. Well , I looked at him good today and his left nostril is plugged. Looks like sand or swelling( the used red sand so I can't tell if it's nostril insides or sand. What do I do!?!?

Oh, I should have mention that he has the correct set up now! Reptisun 10.0 tube in tank about 9 inches from him. Basking temps around 100 and cool side in low to mid 80s. 40 gal breeder tank. Paper towel substrate. Got carpet just waiting for tank cleaning day to put it in. Eats a little bit of crix and supers. Got him some reptiworms on the way..

I bet he is very excited to be in that new enclosure! When a beardie sheds around his face, the nose/nostril part sheds on the outside and on the inside. That circle scale you see surrounding the nostril will come off and a large nasal canal shedding is attached directly to that. Some people pull the scale off and this causes the inside nasal shed to remain in there. He can have a mixture of that plus a little sand. I once had a beardie with a clogged nostril. I just took a small tweezers and pulled the clogged stuff out. In my dragon's case the piece of impacted shed could be grabbed with a small tweezers. Im not sure if your dragon's nose gunk is as prominent. Just be very careful not to impact/ push it in further. In the past, I bought a small baby nostril suction cleaner and lightly squeezed it to make as little suction as possible and tried to suck it out. Don't squeeze it all the way. You want to create as little suction power as possible. You can find them as cheap as one dollar at a dollars store. They are the little ball suction cleaner with very narrow end. Just put it against the outside of the dragon's nostril gently and squeeze lightly to create a small brief suction.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
