HELP! MY BEARDIE ISNT EATING!!!

HELP!! MY BEARDIE HASENT ATEN IN FOREVER!!! ITS BEEN ABOUT 3 MONTHS THAT HES BEEN EATING ABOUT 2 CRICKETS EVERY 2 WEEKS!! he hasent pooped in the longest time either, well i don't think he should, HE DOESNT EAT ENOUGH....
I feed him collard, carrots, a little romain, (yes, i know they have no nutritional value but he seems to like it) and some other greens that i cant think of at the top of my head right now cuz im at school, :study: *worried :shock: beardie slave!! :whip: * but im SO worried, it does seem like hes kinda into brumation, he is originally a really lazy man that sometimes during the afternoon will go CRAZY nuts and turns all happy bright and runs around the house, (i one time found him DON'T ASK HOW, stuck in my sisters huge guitar :shock: !!!and i had to cut the strings and everything, my sister was freakin about about her stinkin guitar) but when he started this huge brumation lazyness he didnt do his afternoon crazyness, until just recently, like ill come home from school and find tons of sand in his water dish... but he DOESNT even touch his greens! he just walks over them, which, i hardly see him walk anymore cuz hes just sittin in his blanket i gave him... one time i even found him underneth it... but anyways PLS HELP!!! ILL GIVE LIGHTING AND VITAMIN INFO LATER WHEN I GET HOME, BUT FOR NOW WITH THE INFORMATION IVE GIVEN U CAN U PLZ HELP!! IM SOOOO SCARED!!!! ill try to take pics today and post em later on in the day, but PLZ!!
like, id think id be brumation, but he just sits in the same place and just stares into nowhere! he will in the morning be in his blanket but then later on in the day he walks over to his basking spot and sits for a while, and just stares... and in the tub, he just sits there! like he would usually go crazy and want out for like the 1st little while, but then hed just sit there, and now he doesnt even move! hes always in the same spot i put him in!!
i donno what to do, and my mom keeps yelling at me to feed him, and i so do too, i try to feed him like 3 times a day, and he doesnt even touch em!!
oh and plus, he hasent shed in i don't even know how long ago!!!!!

What are the basking temps?
What is the cool side temp?
Do you take the temps with a stick on thermometer, a digital thermometer with a wire and a probe end or a temp gun?
Where exactly are you taking your basking temps?
Do you use a heat rock or heat pad?
What do you feed your dragon? Please be specific.
How often do you feed and what time do you feed (morning, afternoon, night)?
Do you gutload (feed) your crickets, worms, etc?
Do you use vitamin or calcium supplements? What brand(s)? How many days a week do you use each of them?

Yes, im at school again, and i can't answer all of these questions right now. so, ill get the measurements and most important stuff asap! :study:

He is now 1 year old.
How long have you had your dragon?
ever scince last year end of september...

He is a He, male :wink:
What type substrate do you have on the bottom of your tank?
Sand, every now and then he eats it, but its not even close enough to get impacted, cali-sand i think its called. right now im at school, again :wink: :study:
Do you use a heat rock or heat pad?
I have neither, his tank is made out of a thick wood. and, i don't have a heat rock. i have heard about them, they can go crazy :wink: and burn the dragons belly, poor babies

We don't have a regular thermomiter with the sticky stuff on the back, we have the probe end one, i know i just heard recently that they really only measure the temps of the air, if i remember. i will get the regualr ones asap.

Crickets. medium, none of us can't STAND the noise, cuz when the crickets are adults, they crickets, and its ANNOYING. plus, i have a problem with my crickets, its almost impossible to keep them alive! like we feed them pieces of lettuce, carrot, little chunks of potato, i belive they eat some of that, ive seen them eat potatoes. we don't feed them the jurrasi sumthing cricket gut load, its too messy in the tank. and, i can't keep it clean! i don't remember how many crickets we get at a time, my moms the one who orders them, and i gotta order some more today cuz like she keeps screamin at me to keep them alive, and i do give them water, little pop caps with little fish tank gravel, and put water in it so they don't drown.

After i get home from school,(4 o clock) and like an hr before i turn his lights off, i turn them on at 6 40 in the morning bfor i go 2 school and turn them off at about 7 or 8.

Well he hasent taken anything in, so nothings coming out. :wink: i also have heard that before brumation, to feed them cuz if they go into brumation with no food in their somach they're stomach will rot and they will die??? i don't remember where i heard that from. :|
Do you bath your dragon? How often?
Yes. i know they need to be bathed, to keep their skin moisturized for proper shedding, and i give him a bath every other day, and every day if i know the next day i won't be able to. and he also hasent shed for the LONGEST time.
Do you mist your dragon or offer water other than in the bath?
Yes. i mist him in the morning, and in the night. and like he doesnt drink out of his water dish and no matter how many times ive showed him that its drinkable water, he doesnt touch it! :roll: and also after school, i mist his nose so he can have a drink.
Does your dragon share an enclosure with another dragon?
No. i have planned on getting a female breeding him in the future, but i don't have the money now or the time (hence im still in school :study: ) but im gonna wait until i have a job and maybe not until i move out into like an apartment or something, when i have a job and more time... *sigh*...
Have you gotten a vet check and fecal done?
NO! AND IM SO MAD cuz ive asked my mom a MILLION times to bring me and the dragon, *cuz i don't have a license :roll: :wink: * but she keeps using the excuse that the nearest one is like 2-3 hrs. away. i mean, c'mon, she does work and all, but she can do it when she doesnt work!! ive been even thinking if my aunt would bring me. cuz i know i really need to get him in, and my mom keeps saying "oh he's FINE, he's FINE" and im all like, well, if theres something wrong with him id really freakin like to know, and even if there isnt id like to be told by a vet he's happy fine and fat then goin thru all the things that could b wrong in my head!!
I'll get the rest of the info when i get home, if unexpectedly my aunt shows up and the dragons in the tub and she says we're all going to her house again today... but i hope this helps some more!

Kaitlyn, the calci-sand is the worst substrate you could be using, even though he may only be eating a small amount, it builds up over time and hardens like cement. I suggest that you remove that right away and replace with paper towels, non-adhesive shelf liner, slate tiles or reptile carpeting.

As far as the thermometer goes, you SHOULDN'T have "one with the sticky stuff on the back". The type you need is either a digital one with a probe end or a temperature gun. If you do indeed have a digital with probe, the way to get the basking side temp is to place the probe end so that it is resting on (actually touching) the basking rock or log, wait about 45 min for the temp to stop rising before you get your final reading. Then you place the probe end way over on the bottom of the cool side, wait the same time frame and then you will have the cool side temp. If you do have a probe one, is that the way you have been checking the temps? What are you getting for the temps?

I noticed that you didn't answer the questions about the UVB lighting. Could you fill us on on the brand & type you're using, how old the bulb is and what the distance is to your beardie's basking spot?

Also, we need to know if you're using calcium and vitamins and if so, how often?

If you could post a picture of your beardie in his tank, it would be very helpful to make sure we're not missing anything.
