So, my beardie is around a year and 3 months, and he seems to just be fairly lazy recently. He isn’t lethargic, like he isn’t sleeping in his hide or looking sick, he just seems to chill a lot recently. I think he may be basking less but I’m not totally sure since I’m at school and sport games for the majority of the day. If I leave dubia roaches in his bowl he won’t eat them, but when I hand feed him he gets super excited and chows them down quickly. I kept an eye on him last weekend just to make sure, and he ran around my room some and climbed stuff in the middle of the day. Could it be that I’m just seeing him only during an hour after lights on and only an hour before lights off? I’ve checked his lights, I got his linear uvb bulb late April, so it’s not that I have to change that yet, his temps are right around that golden spot of 98-101. I’ve watched him closely and looked out for anything like a respiratory infection or some other signs of sickness but I’m yet to see anything else. Tbh I do wish he would poop more but he still is nonetheless pooping. How worried should I be? What else should I be looking for? Is he at an age where he is just less active than he was when he was little? Is he active around noonish but I’m just not there to see it? I’m so lost and don’t know what to do, please help me!
