HELP! My baby beardie may have an eye infection

I'm new to the world of Bearded Dragons and I think my lil guy may have an eye infection. It's been about 36 hours now and about every hour his eye gets gunky I'm using saline solution to keep it clean, I don't want to take him to a vet if it's something I can do at home to cure. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you.

What substrate are you using? Sand/bark/things like that are a common cause of eye problems. If so then switch him to paper towels or tile. If that's not the case and you've already tried washing it out, then a vet visit is needed as any infection can be deadly for these little guys.
