HELP! lightning change?

My beardie has been living in a 4ft long enclosure by 2 feet deep with a 48inch ballista holding up a normal light tube and a reptiSun 10.0 along with on the side a heating bulb of 100-120watts depending on time of year. about 12 inches of height from the bulb to the beardie.

My ballista blew up today and she has no lightning, ill have to replace it. But now i'm wondering, would it been cheaper to go to a 36inch ballista? Would it make a big difference or?
it is seriously hard to find Reptisun in my area so I have to order the bulbs all the time. I figured i could save some serious money downgrading to a 36 maybe...

Any thoughts? Thanks!

(the bukbs is also done almost a year now..but thankfully she's still brumating in her hole..)

36 inch would be fine for your tank. Most people would recommend a 24 or 36 inch Uvb in a four foot tank anyway

36" BALLAST would be enough for your tank size.

Your in canada, therefor should easily be able to get ahold of an arcadia 12% , which is a better bulb. Not easily available in the USA.

Umm Arcadia is not easily available in Canada either. I think you re confusing Canada with UK, that where they have Arcadia.

And LOL @ ballista. Yeah a 36 inch "ballista" would be fine

Yah Arcadia are not easy to get here... i have actually never seen them on the half dozen online reptile supply stores ive been to. Reptisun 10.0 36" T8 light is your best bet. I just installed a 24" into my new tank last night.
