She's not had a bowel movement or urate since Friday when she laid her clutch - is that normal?

She's eating. She's slowly getting her appetite back. And we try to soak her daily (forgot to yesterday).

She may just be slow to rebound. Keep an eye on Her. Let Me know if anything wierd happens...lol

my girl had appitite after laying but now shes losing it agian does this mean she might be getting ready to lay she really fat and seems to be trying to poo

Well she did finally poo - it was a huge one too! My son left it for me to clean up - so nice of him! :lol:

She seems to be eating a wee more as well. Got an order of waxworms in yesterday and she ate a few of those. Not sure what waxworms are, but they look like very VERY large maggots to me.

Well I think Angie is going to lay again but not sure when. Looking at my one post of where I said she looked bloated and then when she laid that clutch - there's 12 days in between. We noticed she looked bloated again the 24th (Christmas Eve) so figure 12 days after that (which is around 19 days give or take) and she'll be laying another clutch. JOY! (not really but you just gotta go with the flow I guess).

I got new bricks of bedding and will get them ready only when it's time. Figured I couldn't use the old bedding she laid the other clutch in (where they were removed and flushed). Wanted to start clean for whatever reason. I'll have to stock up on these bricks though if she's going to keep up with this. Feb. I have surgery on my knee and won't be able to drive for 6 - 8 wks so I'll need to make sure I have what I need handy. I can send hubby out for some things but not everything :lol: Yesterday I made him driving me in a snow storm to get supers for Angie! Her appetite is picking up again - yay! I got 2 containers from Petsmart yesterday and already will be needing more tomorrow (25 in each container). I do have waxworms - EEEWWW and she gets those as well as her salads!

Ok another question - Angie laid more eggs Saturday (that was closer to 2 wks than 3) and I haven't gotten them out yet but will do so today.

My question - once they go thru this cycle of however many times for 5 - 6 months, do they stop for however long? If so - how long?

I don't think she laid nearly as many this last time as she did the first! She was really REALLY hungry Sunday morning though! She didn't seem to lose as much weight (my guess as to her not laying as many also) so that's a good thing. She's not too fond of Waxworms (what are they anyhow - they look like extra large maggots).
