So glad to hear that! I would keep up everything and still try to get him into the vet. Love his picture . Did he have a bowel movement?

Sorry to hear about Zeke's problem. :( Can you show your tank with the light placement ? What exact type+ brand of lights are you using ? If the lights are not producing enough heat and/or uvb then he can't process the calcium in his body. Then when he became impacted it probobly caused the spine deformity.

It's god that you're seeing some progress, best wishes Zeke to regain his health as much as possible !

Here is zeke currently, now has movement in his upper body but nothing in is legs. Still crooked spine and no bowel movements. I still bath him regularly, massage the stomach lightly in the bath, pedialyt (which is in his water when he bathes) and bannana.

Sorry for reposting everyone! I didn't see there was 2 pages of thread since i'm on my mobile device. His tank is an exo terra 20 G, he has a 100 W basking bulb (currently) story behind that is he had a 150 W bulb but someone said that was too powerful but if you look at the exo terra 20 G its more squarish instead of a normal rectangle tank and he never showed much of an issue. He has a repitsun 10.0 UVB Bulb.

{UPDATE} it seems that zeke is ready to eat again! He ate a small amount of soft butter worms and 2 small crickets (not much but GREAT START) at this point i suspect MBD but from what i look at the best way is a better UVB bulb and calcium suppliment. I use repti calcium dust but am leaning to try calcium liquid, any tips for that? Thanks!

I used liquid calcium and it's was great. Just be careful to not over do it. I did. Lol the dragon is ok but when her blood was tested she was off the charts! I have recently purchased better UVB lights in as well. So glad to hear of his progress!

I need a little help on how to give him liquid calcium, he has a good amount of energy but has no interest licking it off his nose or a dropper.. he did before just because he had nothing else and because i would just tap his mouth and he'd submit but now he just gets defensive

Try mixing it in with his food....Be careful with how much you do give him as it is easy to overdue it...How is he doing now?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
