Help! I need to know if my beardie is the right size for his age!!

I got my bearded dragon from Petco at the beginning of November. They had told me when I got him he had been in the store for 3 to 4 months already and I got him discounted because he was getting too big. They told me the breeder they get them from ensures they’re under six months old but won’t tell them specific ages. So if what she said was accurate he’s about five months old. I’m not sure if he’s the correct size he looks kind of scrawny I’m feeding him crickets and some greens he picks at. Can anyone tell me if he’s too small or just right? Thanks!!

He looks good --- hes going to grow at his rate -- as long as hes getting proper diet and good UVB and basking temps he will continue to grow -

I think he is. You responded on my other thread and suggested some diet stuff I’m going to find some meal worms now cuz it’s too cold this week to ship them where I live. I might try to start a colony I have had no success with crickets. And I can’t find medium or small dubia roaches

try the websites I gave you --- call the post office and tell them to hold the insects and you will come get them -- my post office calls me when they come in --- colonies take a year to get going -- meal worms are ok just dont feed them too often -- they have a exoskeleton on them that is harsh on younger ones stomachs and can cause impaction -- most people get their insects on line -- you should be able to have a hold on them when they come to your post office --

Yep that is common they get hooked on meal worms -- do not feed him anymore of them you need to get him back on crickets or dubia roaches or some BSFL -- you can get him some super worms feed those 1-3 on top of his salads every other day or every 2 days but he needs to eat a staple feeder like crickets dubias or BSFL -- of which those are really small you would need to get large do not dust them -- and order large BSFL if you get them www.symtonbsf.com keep them in the dirt they come in -- they can turn into flies if they do feed them dragons like them as well --
