help I have took on a beardie that's been dumped

Hi I had a beardie a while ago and sadly lost him a few months ago when he was 7 years old. I have now took on a male who was dumped on someone's doorstep, I know nothing about him and want to know if he is under weight, he weighs 324 grams and is 17 and half inches nose to tail, is this a healthy weight and is there a way to tell how old he is? He seems healthy enough? Xv

Hi there....can you post some pics ? That is actually an acceptable weight, could be a tad higher but not worrisome at all.

To post pics, you can upload them to a site like Photobucket or Tinypic, then copy/paste the img code here. I did get the ones you sent me, and he does look a bit thin, but not emaciated. Is he holding his mouth open a bit, or is he just a bit grouchy ? He needs some good food [ not TOO much at once ] and some hydration. Are his eyes O.K. ? They look a bit funny in the pic, might just be the angle though.

Sounds healthy to me. My baby is 16.5" and 267g. Technically, this is underweight, but he runs around 2 hours a day, he eats well and poops well, and his weight slowly increases.
