help blood in poop

okay. so accidentally i dropped a food bowl on lasagnas back. right above her tail, im so worried she is doing fine just relaxing, she ate after that and ran around. but now she just pooped and i small a very small amount of blood in her stool. this is the first time i ever saw it. and i cant bring her to the vet because its sunday! if i see blood again tomorrow i will take her, is this a serious issue? did i bruise her ? is she internally blooding =[ im so upset please help! and please dont tell me im an ***** or not responsible i do everything for my baby girl it was just an accident . also i did not drop it from a far maybe an inch above her. so it wasnt much pressure . help!

It's likely due to the fall trauma. It absolutely needs to be seen by a vet ASAP. It's good that it's small, but if there's an emergency exotic vet in your area, I would do that.

It's not at all your fault...I've done the same thing and, luckily, it missed him, so don't be too hard on yourself. The best thing you can do is get your beardie to an expert ASAP, as any internal bleeding like this can be serious.

oh goodness, thanks for the advice. it just sucks its sunday night i doubt i will be able to call anywhere, you think there is anything i can do right now to help?

Keep him warm and hydrated until you can get him in. Make sure you tell the vet where it hit him and when. There's nothing else I know of that you can do except keep him from straining too much. Maybe put a towel down for him to sleep on so he's comfortable and get him in first thing in the morning.

Let us know how he is doing. I am sorry that has happened, but, unfortunately, accidents do happen & they are so small that it doesn't take much.
He is probably just slightly bruised, maybe on top of the kidney. That would cause a little bit of blood.

thanks for the support! she is doing good, she is eating and running around like a mad woman. And no blood today thank goodness. i do think she is fine i would've seen other signs of her being hurt, i think it was just a bruise. i plan on giving her a nice bath and if i see anymore blood im going to take her to the vet. thanks again guys!

Ive heard of stressed beardie producing blood in their stool after a traumatic event and should go away. Just a thought but still best action would be to consult a vet.

yes the vet said she was fine, just a bruise! she is still being a good girl. i now take her out before i take her dish out so it never happens again. lol thanks guys !!
