I've been noticing recently that one of my adult males has been having issues. He's always had bad depth perception, tending to walk right off of things where my other dragons will stand at the edge and jump. While he's always had that problem, I have started noticing that when he goes to eat food from his bowl, he often misses the food he's aiming for. It's not that he can't see it, his vision is fine. It's just that his aim is off, WAY off.
He's also recently been skittish when I go to pet him in his cage, and a few times has even run from me when I tried to pick him up. He's always been a little head shy and funny about being pet at first i'm assuming because of the way he was treated before I got him, but this is much worse than usual. He's fine once I pick him up, and actually seems to enjoy being held and having his head rubbed. I'm not sure what's going on with him but it's worrying me as nothing in his environment has changed.
As i'm sure some will ask, here's his setup and feeding schedule. To preface this, he's 3 years old.
He lives in a 90 gal viv, basking spot is 103, hot side sticks around 93, cool side around 80. He eats greens and veggies every day, fruit once a week, live food once a week, vitamins and calcium 2x a week. He has a water bowl big enough to soak in, but gets bathed once weekly as well.
Any and all responses are greatly appreciated!
