Help! Beardie fell!

I was trying to calm my baby bearded dragon down when he was glass dancing so I picked him up about 3" from the top of the cage and he noticed the lid of the cage was off so he jumped and hit the wall which was a good 12" fall!

After the fall I closed the cage lid and turned the lights back on and now he's just sitting on his log... He's not glass dancing anymore but I'm unsure if he's hurt. Any advice?

Oh I am sorry to hear that your baby fell that far.
Is he still able to hold himself up on all fours or is he laying flat on his belly?
Has he had any changes in color, a black beard or black tail tip at all?
I would watch him for changed behavior, such as loss of appetite, not basking, color changes that are not normal, blood in stool (per internal injuries), though an internal injury is probably not likely.
How did he land?

Hi Tracie! After that incident he seemed to be completely inactive so I picked him up out of his cage and let him lay down on my bed sheet but he fell asleep! (I think.) this is the first time I've let him out of the cage and he falls asleep! I put him back in the cage and he's now sleeping so I'll check tomorrow morning. Thanks for the concern!
