Help.....bearded dragon got something

My niece gave my bearded dragon a pill she found it was a nurotine for nerve pain.... he bit into it and might have got some of the powder but I got the pill away from him before he could eat it. All vets are closed what can I do? It was a very little bit of the powder. I rinsed his mouth out by I dont know if he ingested it. But his teeth on the top left I think got broke or something cuz I saw blood. Please help me

If he really didn't get a piece of it he should be O.K, but if you're concerned you could get some activated charcoal at a drug store,it absorbs toxins + allows them to pass through. Did his mouth stop bleeding ? Did you use an instrument to open his mouth that caused bleeding ?

I agree that a little bit shouldn't cause an issue. It's good to have an activated charcoal kit on hand anyway in case of toxin ingestion. Has the bleeding stopped? You'll want to keep the wounded area as clean as possible to prevent infection. Topical antimicrobials are probably best. Manuka or raw/unpasteurized honey or some MaxiGuard gel are the first things that come to mind.

The bleeding stop very quickly. He is doing great and eating perfectly. Man that was a scare. Im installing locks on my cages. I dont wanna go through that again

I'm glad he is doing well. Neurontin (gabapentin) used for seizures, nerve pain, mood stabilization. GABA is produced in the body, gabapentin is just a larger dose. It takes a large dose to be toxic. Doesn't sound like he got enough to hurt him.
