Hi guys, you have all been a great help for me in my previous posts. thanks!
I need help as I have three young beardies, all with fungal dermatitis probably CANV as they lived for two days in a tank were a bearded dragon with CANV lived. two of them weight 15g and the other weights 26g. Mi concern is if its safe to use voriconazole as they are so young, and also is very difficult to open their mouth. Do you guys know if its safe or should I just use lamisil until they get older and can give them voriconazole orally?
I´m so sad they got infected... Everything started about 3 months ago I decided to rescue a bearded dragon, and didn't know he was CANV positive...He died... and He infected my two adult bearded dragons... one of them died yesterday after only two weeks on voriconazole.. the other one seems to be recovering... Sadly my babies also showed today skin lesions as Yellow fungus...
also do you guys know if its safe for bearded dragons that had CANV to breed? would the offspring be healthy or they will be born infected?
