Help! Are my bearded dragons eyes sunken or are they fine.

Hello I’m a new bearded dragon owner. I have been having a hard time getting my bearded dragon to drink. I was wondering if his eyes looked sunken or if he is fine. I read that that happens if they are dehydrated.

Nope, they do not look sunken at all. I have a dragon who is 6, and I have never seen her drink. She gets baths/soaks and veggies, and so she seems to be pretty hydrated from that. Also I find that mine will not even look at standing water, so splashing your fingers in the bath might promt your little guy to drink.

Your dragon's eyes look fine to me!
He is very sweet & looks healthy & alert. Does he eat greens or veggies yet? If you are
concerned about hydration, you can try gently pouring water into a shallow lid, then
swirl the water around with your finger. Or you can also use a dropper to drop water onto
the lid to fill it so that he sees the water moving. You can very easily train them to drink from
a dish, or by using a plastic dropper or syringe, if you work with them for awhile.
