Hi,
My names Pete. Im from basingstoke in hampshire. Ive had my beardie around 3 months now and am absolutely loving her and her quirky ways. I have a bit of a lighting question....
I have a vivexotic 4foot x 2 foot deep viv and was contemplating putting in 2 x 24" uvb arcadia tubes to replace my existing hood i have in there already containing 2 x compact uvb bulbs. Would the set up im after be enough uvb and length tubes?
Im going to be putting reflectors on both so im sure the spread will be ok. Its just that at the moment she loves to bask and doesnt spend much time in the uvb so was thinking of moving the new tubes closer to hef basking spot so shell be getting the uvb too. Any help would be great :)
Ps the tubes will be 10% uvb

I think you should be fine with a 36" fixture. 2 24" fixtures would have to overlap and zoo meds also makes a 48" 10.0 but that wouldn't fit in at all.

So do you think 2 is a bit overkill?
Its only because the vivs 2 foot deep i was thinking of 2 close to the basking lamp.
I was going to run them side by side around 8 inches apart. Thought id get better coverage of uvb.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
