Hey there! I'm Abigail. :) I just found this forum when I was researching things about beardies. I got one about 2-3 weeks ago. He is around 2-3 months old (I'm assuming it is a he...don't know yet) and from what the vet said, is doing great. His name is Watson. I'd love any advice ya'll can give me!

-40 gallon tank
-Working on getting a MVB within a couple days or a week :D , have a Zilla UVB light, can't remember the exact type
-Warm side is between 95-102 degress Fahrenheit, any ideas on how to get it higher?
-Cool side is betwen 75-80 degrees F
-He eats about five crickets in the morning, five in the afternoon, and ten at night
-I give him collard green every days (sometimes turnip or mustard), kale 2-3 times a week, acorn squash every day (butter nut when I can find it), and mango or papaya 2-3 times a week
-I bathe him up to 3 times a week, five when he is shedding, and mist him as much as he wants which is generally 2-4 times a day
-He is on reptile carpet
-He uses the restroom 1-2 times a day

Sorry if this is too much info. Just want suggestions/ideas/comments about my care of him.

It looks like he's going to be a pretty healthy and happy beardie. I have one suggestion: the misting isn't really needed, and if you do it too much, especially in the cage, the humidity can get to high and the beardie can get a respiratory infection.
He can absorb plenty of water since you plan on bathing him regularly. If I ever feel like mine needs it other than that, I'd probably offer it through a dropper. ^^

The humidity has never gotten above 35, except getting a bit above forty at night. I like the dropper idea, however. He seems to prefer drinking it directly than licking it off the walls and such. Thanks! :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
