I am not terribly new to the reptile world, but pretty new to the beardie world. Actually, so new that my little one is still sitting at the shop waiting for me to get my next paycheck
I just figured I would introduce myself before I was noticed as a lurker.
My name is Whitney (or kiara- doesn't really matter too much what I'm called), and I have a whole slew of pets already... a Lab who is 4 named Raine, a Mastiff mix who is 2 named Max, a 9 year old cat named Tigress, an 8 month old kitten named Bandit, 2 bettas (Shadow and Pan), 4 platies named Lock, Shock, Barrell, and Sally, and an African Dwarf Frog named Jack (along with a ghost shrimp named Oogie Boogie- notice a pattern?). I have been keeping fish for about 5 years. I *had* a banded gecko, except he found a way out of his tank and became a midnight snack for Max... which ruined my summer, but he was my first addicting taste to reptiles. My youngest sister actually breeds beardies though, and it was her convinced me I wanted one.
Once I get pictures, I will post them.. but like I said... s/he's still at the store =)
