Hello New Beardie Owner Here

Hi everyone I am new to the forum and new to the great world of Bearded Dragons. I have kept many reptiles in the past but never these great guys until about a week ago. I stumbled across an ad in a local internet classified and there was a bearded dragon for sale with cage for $50 dollars. I quickly picked it up and now have our bearded dragon named riley living with us. However it became apparent that Riley has never been fed any greens, mostly just crickets and even some anoles ( this kind of got my gears going) he was also being kept on wood chips and there was no UV light with his cage. Anyways here I am with a couple of questions.

Is it ok to turn his heat lamp off at night, it gets fairly chilly (60 degrees or so )
How can I get him to start eating vegetables?
And how long should a shed last and does bathing him help in the shedding process?

I appreciate your help ad look forward to learning more.

Hello and welcome
Below 60 at the night is a no-no, perhaps try get a ceramic for the night time..
Adding wide ranges of veg and colours might make them look more appetising..
Bath`s help sheds an awful lot i bathe mine every 2 days ...
