Hello! Meet Butiki

Butiki means lizard in Tagalog, in case you were wondering. My boyfriend is in the Philippines learning Tagalog until November.
He/she (not sure which yet) is my new best buddy! He's not quite used to me yet, and he's always super hyper and LOVES to run around EVERYWHERE I have to be careful he doesn't get into trouble.
I just got him 5 days ago (on Friday) at a local pet store an hour away from where I live (I live in a very small town). I'm 21 and I think my beardie is about... ehhh.... 3-4 months? I really have no idea. Just guessing. Is there any way to tell? I also posted a lot more info about how I care for him on the general discussions page called "Me and my new Beardie" I would LOVE any suggestions you experienced beardie owners have. This is my first one. When I was younger I had a leopard gecko, put those are much less fun. Dang nocturnal creatures. Hahha. I absolutely love having Butiki awake while I'm awake!
So anyway, there you have it. Any suggestions or productive criticism would be much appreciated. (I'll be using the flashlight thing to see his/her gender tonight when it's bed time)

Welcome to the forum =). Based on his size he looks maybe 2-3 months to me. Definitely a little guy but it's hard to tell how old for sure without a hatch date. Definitely give the flashlight check a try, but don't be disappointed if it's hard to tell at this age. It gets a little easier to tell after they're a few months older.

Hey guys! IT's about 5 months later and here are updated pictures of my growing boy! So proud of him. I couldn't have done it without all your guys' help.

No kidding... I remember reading back then that they should be full size by a year but my goodness... He's growing so fast!
