Hello, My name is Logan! I am a 14 year old male from South Carolina and I love Bearded Dragons! I will tell you a little bit about my self. As stated, I am a 14 year old boy. I do 2 sports, track and swimming. My favorite activities are play diep.io and hanging out with my pets.
On to my pets. I have 1 dog, 1 cat, and 1 bearded dragon. My dog is a Carolina Dingo, her name is dell. She is 13 years old and has an amazingly sweet personality. My cat is a turtleshell calico. She is 10 years old and quite the grumpy old lady! My bearded dragons name is Squirt. He is a boy (I have sexed him myself) and he is 5 months old as of this month. He has a quirked personality, he loves to walk up the side of the screens tank to jump on to his basking spot, even though he can walk on to it!
A run through of his tank and diet will be here.
-His tank is a custom built, wooden tank that is 48" long, 24" tall, and 24" wide.
- he has 2 basking spots and a cool, ambient side. He has 2 basking spots because he gets very unhappy without his second one.
-His main basking bulb is a 160 watt mercury vapor bulb mounted about 15 inches away from his basking spot. His second bulb is 50 watt halogen.
-His tanks temperatures are 83 on the cool side/ambient and both of his basking spots are at 105f
-All temps are measured with a digital probe.
-He has a water dish that is stocked with fresh water every day
His diet:
-10 adult crickets gut loaded with veggies and Flukers orange cubes at every feeding, twice a day.
-A medium sized blow of collard greens/turnip greens (I switch back and forth) mixed with either finely chopped carrot or yellow squash.
-He gets his crickets dusted with calcium w/o d3 every other day and vitamin dusted once a week.
That is a little bit about me and my pets. If you ever need emergency help with your bearded dragon, you can ask me. I know an extremely large amount of information about all kinds of diseases, sicknesses, and ailments. I am also looking to study in to veterinary science. I plan on being a reptile specialist because of my love of reptiles!
Here are some pictures!
(Excuse my messy bed. I was in the process of changing my sheets and blanket, but I decided to take pictures. He has since shed his head.)
