hello reptile lovers, my name is Pablo Hernandez and even though i have had a bearded dragon for quite some time now i havent introduced my self and i apologize, i am 21 years old and cant stop loving reptiles. i have 16 ball pythons and now have 2 bearded dragons. reptiles are my passion and what world would this be without them?

i just got a beautiful male silk back bearded dragon and i cant find much on them.
from what i acquired its the same care as a normal bearded dragon, but every 3 to 4 days i put udder lotion on him.
i have a question though is this information right?
and do i start putting it on him now as a baby or wait?
every info would be greatly appreciated,

When I had my silkie I always put lotion on him every couple of days. I would wait till I gave him a bath, then put it on. Yes, you need to start using it now. As he gets older and starts to shed less, you don't have to use it as often. I've always used unscented baby lotion and never had any problems. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank you everyone for your great advice.. He is doing great and Bathing regularly , I also put lotion on him after bath time , so it looks as though I'm doing something right.. Thank you for your care
