Heat rock

Okay didn't know where it went so i put this here.

This is what i don't get......

I used to have a heat rock and Sparks always sat on it now this is what i don't get!..............................(now i turned it off and put it under another rock in the cage. I can't get it out easily)


I thought beardie didn't feel heat on their bellies!!. Can anyone help me out?


He can't sit on the heat rock any more.

You can just remove the cord etc. and still use it as a *rock*.
Since they can not SENSE heat on their belly they will stay on a hot surface until they burn and blister. The certainly *can sense* the pain of the burn injury.

There is also the risk of infection which brings on a myriad of other problems.

Glad to hear you will no longer use a heat rock! I guess you saw the pics of the beardie with the burns on its belly? So sad and entirely preventable
