For all you guys who are building custom enclosures, doing furniture to viv transformations, etc., I found a very EASY and inexpensive way to put heat bulbs in your dragon's cage if you have a wooden ceiling. Wal Mart has socket adaptors for 98 cents. It is simply a socket with a plug on the other end. All you need is a couple of these (depending on how many bulbs you are placing in the cage) and an extension cord. Make sure you get the one which accommodates the polarized plugs (i.e. thicker/wider female end).
Wal Mart also sells staples in the fasteners section over in the home improvement department that are "hammer in".
All you have to do is:
Place cord of extension chord through the staple. Hammer the staple into the ceiling of the enclosure in the desired location. Make sure the female end is hanging about an inch and a half to 2 inches from the ceiling. Once staple is in place, Screw in light bulb to the adapter and simply plug in!!
For one 2 lightbulb fixture, it costs less than $4 (not including bulbs).
