Heat bulb and uv light

Hi I'm just wondering if I can link the two lights together to one switch?

Also how to thermostats work? How do I set them up? What's the best one?

I've just got a 4x2x2 tank and want to get the temperatures right before I put my beardie in!

That probably isn't the best idea, but I am not an electrician!
What type of lights are you wanting to tie together? Do you mean on the same switch or the same timer?
Are you using a mercury vapor bulb or a tube bulb?

I mean so I can just flick a switch and they both go off. I'll be using a uv tube

Just put them on a timer. Most have two outlets. If it's a single outlet you could run a powers trip off of it.
