So Jaumbi did something weird today, I took him out and had him sitting on the couch with me and he looked pretty calm, resting and no black beard. Then out of no where he started bobbing his head, like he was rocking out. He stopped after about a minute, it was kinda funny and it didn't look like he was doing it out of anger.
Can headbobbing mean something else besides trying to be dominant?

Autumn head bobs at the tv all the time. I think he wants me to change the channel. It must have another meaning, unless he was trying to dominate the tv show...

My males bob allllll the time. I have seen females so it occasionally too. None of them are aggressive either :D ( well to me)

Maybe it has something to do with him hitting puberty? I don't know how you can tell, but it seems like he's getting old enough to be doing that pretty soon...
It was pretty neat to see though, all I could think of when I saw it was "Jammin'" by Bob Marley lol

Slow head bobs are a sign of submission usually. Perhaps he was just acknowledging that you are the boss :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
