Hi, so I have a 2 female and 1 male and their enclosures are all in different rooms, but when i take the male into the room the females enclosure is and where she runs about on the floor his beard turns black and he head bobs alot (Keep in mind he cannot see her and she cannot see him) i was just wondering if when the female licks things around the room if he can tell another bearded dragon has been there? Is it a territorial thing? :study:

Reptiles (and animals in general) have much keener senses than we might realize. Since it's a female, it could be an interest thing. The femoral pores on many lizards are part of a chemical communication system - the licking is how they pick up the chemicals to analyze them.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
