Head and tail different colors??

I've had my beardie Ruger for about a month, he is about one year old.. Once in a while his head and tail turn this whitish-gray whilst his body turns black.. Not like this all the time, just sometimes. Anyone know why?? And I also notice that everyone asks about color and morphs... I've been told he is a "Central"... not sure what that means, and I'm guessing pretty standard colors. But how would I say that if someone asked?? Just don't want to sound clueless if someone asks me what kind of Beardie I have...

His tail is the same way.. But it only does this off and on, not like it's been that way for days. Do you still think it's shedding time? Wouldn't his back shed too?? Sorry, just curious. I have a veiled chameleon and apparently he sheds differently, bcuz his skin doesn't change color, it's just obvious skin shedding off, and he gets a little grumpy..

Its normal for beardies to shed in patches. I have one that she shed her tail and one arm. It can take weeks for them to shed. Especially adults.hi

Yep, looks like a pretty happy chubster little 'normal' to me. They shed all crazy-like, not like snakes who shed all in one go. Mine is normally a bright color, but when he's shedding I call him my ghost dragon. :lol: He used to be pretty even, first all five appendages (legs/arm/tail), then the head and torso, but now he's all weird and patchy. :roll: Nothing to worry about at all, but it does make them pretty grouchy!
Here he is with a patch at the top of his tail and his head starting to go...
