They ate their crickets on Sunday evening, the LOVE those.

Both of them just nibbled yesterday at some Bearded Dragon Food and some mixed veggies that the guy said that they eat.

Today I gave them both a salad of Collard Greens, Mustard Greens and some minced up apples.

Shadow.. PIG! Ran to his dish and gobbled up some, then would go bask awhile. Come back and finished it all! I added a little more greens to his dish and he is still working on them.

Sonic... She has eaten about half of what I gave her this morning.. Plus she has not pooped since We brought them home Saturday Night.. Shadow gave us a BIG Stinky one Sunday and nothing since..

They don't have a UVB bulb at the moment as at the advice of those on here I tossed the coil bulbs. New ones are coming in the mail by the end of the week..

She IS drinking water.. She has made herself very comfy at the moment on her basking log.. (Her hind legs are just hanging off the limb. It is quite funny to see..

HOPEFULLY they will be getting some more crickets tonight as when I go get Jordyn (my son) from school we will stop at the pet store and get some for them. Sonic Loves Crickets so hopefully she will eat some. Should I look into something to help get her pooping or get her eating more? Or just hold out until the end of the week when I get the proper lighting and see what happens after that?

Ok well I am not so worried about Shadow anymore.. He gladly let me know he was finished with his Salad by climbing into the dish and Pooping in it! A Tad Bit Runny and he made lots of "tooting" while doing it.. Could that be because of the Greens?

Of course I took out the dish! Now if only Sonic would be so kind....

Congrats on the new dragons. Sounds like one is going through relocation stress, she may not eat much for a week or two until she gets used to her new home. I'm assuming they are young ones. Most young dragons will only eat a little bit of veggies so don't be surprised if they don't eat it all. They both should be eating as many crickets as they can eat in 10 to 15 minutes a couple times a day once they are settled in. And crickets should be no bigger than the space between their eyes. If she hasn't eaten much in a couple days, she may not need to poo as often. Just keep an eye on her. If they are being kept together one can also become more dominant and cause the other one to stop eating. Its good that she is drinking, you may also want to give her a warm bath daily to make sure she stays hydrated. You can also drop water on their nose for her to lick off. This is good to teach them in case you ever need to feed them this way. The UV light is for calcium metabolism so the basking light should be enough for them to digest their food for now as long as its getting between 100 and 110 degrees. If she seems healthy and active I wouldn't worry too much right away. Good luck, Cheryl

Its normal for them to go through a little relocation stress - esp since she has come to a new home and just been separated from shadow. Give her a week or 2 to settle down and just keep offering food. If you think she needs to poop, give her a bath (baby temp) and massage her belly from armpit to vent - that usually helps to move things along!!

We just fed them a batch of crickets about half an hour ago.

She KNOWS when you have crickets! LOL.. this time i gave them each a dozen and they ate them all in about 7 minutes.. So I would assume that the next time I give them the crickets they will be able to eat what? Close to 2 dozen? She Ran like a madwoman all over her tank chasing down those buggers.. Not a one was safe...

She has even climbed up on her basking log for the first time since being put in her own tank. And I fixed another little problem she was having.. HE could see her! And she could see him. So now since they CAN'T see one another she is a bit more at ease. She really does like watching the television though... Especially CSI.... she pays no attention to the TV until that show is on... I have NO idea why LOL...

I will give her a bath tomorrow..

Mine love watching TV too! They sit on the couch and watch until they fall asleep. We have a male and female also, and when they can see each other, the female won't eat. He has that controlling glare that locks the others in, even the babies freeze when they see the big guy.

She did eat more of her salad this evening after her Crix. I changed out her greens and put a little more in there Just in case... And about 10 minutes later most of it was gone.. So that makes me feel better that she is eating... Now Poop little one!!!

We will try out our first bath tomorrow.. That should be interesting!!!!

I've noticed my older male dragon was going 2 or 3 times a day but he is eating more greens and less crickets now so he is starting to go every other day. When he does, watch out, there will be two or three little logs! Rubbing the belly in the bath works really good too, I do it and it works almost every time, I think its funny. From reading around, there are a lot of dragons that prefer to go in the bath. No mess in the cage then, yay!

Yeah!! She ate lots today! She ate All her salad and even some of a second helping.. FROM MY HAND! My son is a bit skiddish about having them eat from his hand yet. Nervous about being bit. But I will show him they don't...

Then she went over to her Water and hung out there for about 20 minutes. Drank some and headed to her log. Basked a bit and called it an early evening. But Yeah!!! She ate!! Now WHERE is that poopy??? :?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
