he hasn't been basking?

Hey, I have a 1.5 yr old beardie. He used to love to bask but hasn't been basking much lately. The basking area stays around 105-110 while cool side stays at around 75. My only guess as to why is because he has sort of outgrown the hammock that was his basking spot. I also recently switched his diet from reptiworm staple to cricket staple, he still eats healthy salads daily.

105 sounds great, but 110 is a little too much for an Adult. Try to get it closer to the 105 mark and put something his size in the bask area. I use a low platform that slopes just slightly. 100-105. My adult seems to really like it. Good Luck.

Yes it may be a little hot for him. While 105-110 is great for a young dragon Adults usually like it cooler.

My adults basking spots are kept between 97 and 102, I use a thermostat to keep the temps constant. Anything hotter and neither of them will not bask.

Is he still pooing regularly? Do you keep him well hydrated?

Wow ok I think you were right about the temp, his 150watt bulb burned out yesterday, so i replaced it with a 75 watt bulb we had lying around in the closet, and today he has been basking for the first time in like 2 weeks! He poops every 1-3 days and it is brown firm and healthy looking. I bath him twice a week and spray lots of water on his veggies and the on the freeze dried crix, i'm thinking of putting a water bowl in his tank, he used to have one and he would sit in it.
