Was supposed to be meeting the reptile courier today, but snow stopped play. The wee man was upset but at 7 he is mature enough to understand thank goodness.

Not going to be able to get him till 7th January at the earliest now. Can turn the heating and lighting off now.

Ohh well, think me and the wee man will be playing with polystyrene over the holidays, so at least they will have lovely new homes to come to.

I am also waiting until the end of January. Hi everyone my name is Paula and I have been without a beardie for 2 1/2 years. I moved in with my kids over 2 1/2 years ago and Peanut died right before I moved. My daughter wasn't keen on me getting a new one so I waited until I got my own place. I'm going to have my set up already and when I come back from my convention I will get my beardie or at least start to look. I don't want to leave him (or her) alone for 3 days while I'm gone.
I'm re reading everything I can about the care of beardies because I never found out how he died. He was 8 and seemed fine until he went into hibernation. He never came out of it. It broke my heart. I don't want to make the same mistakes this time.
