I have a new beardie that my cat actually dragged in, and I've been nursing it back to health. Its nice and fat now, eats lots of crickets, and everything else. I was told that my question about lighting could be answered here.
I just went to my local pet store Kahoots (their prices are very reasonable) and bought a reptiglo 10.0 fluorescent. I confused reptisun with it. Anyway, check out the pics and let me know what you all think. Im prepared to buy a different bulb but he seems to like the thing. I put a giant root in there and he perches on it to bask.
I guess the question at hand is: is it SO dangerous that I need to immediately get a new light, or can he handle this for a month or two?
FYI beardie is appx 10 weeks old.
