I don't know if this is normal or not but my bearded dragon (who is a month over 1 year old) hasn't shed in about four months or five. He stopped eating crickets a couple months ago so i stopped buying them but now is back to eating them. During the couple months he wouldn't eat a cricket at all so i fed him silk worms for a few days (the store had run out and stopped ordering them) then wax worms and meal worms were used after that. His poo would be runny. Now the poo is solid and not as big as it used to be when he ate a lot and sometimes runny.

I use a repti glo fluorescent tube and a zoo med heat lamp in a 55 gallon tank.
Basking spot is about 99 degrees, cold side is about 80 measured through a thermometer with a digital probe.
Hydrometer measures around 35 in the day and 50 at night.
I use tiles for the substrate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

First thing that pops out is the repti-glo. Not a good uvb at all. This is what you want:

Next thing are those meal worms. They aren't the best even for a treat. You can offer crix, or silks, or phoenix worms, or roaches for the best protein.

Now, have you been offering baths ? 3-4 times a week, minimum, water to the shoulders, temps 90-100*F for around 15-20 minutes, either your hand or a wash cloth under the claws for traction.

Also, when was the last time a fecal exam was done ?
Janie.

Thanks for the reply!
My mistake, I'm not using a repti glo, it's the zoo med Repti Sun 10.0 UVB fluorescent tube similar to what you linked.

I leave meal worms in there because he didn't eat anything at all, but would sometimes go nibble on a few once in a while so i figured it would be better than nothing.

I give my bearded dragon a bath like 3 times a week, but when i don't have time, i just mist him with bottled water.

I have never done a fecal exam.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
