Has he gone crazy?

So, recently, Copper has had these moments (sometimes all day) of hyperactivity. He runs around his tank jumping from his basking spot to his shelf for the UV basking. He'll climb his walls seemingly to get closer to his heat light, or stands on his hind legs reaching up to his UV light fixture. I am highly concerned that he will fall and critically injure himself. Is this behavior normal? He's 1 year old, in and 4 x 2 x 2 tank, all temps are correct. I am wondering if this pre-brumation, or if he's going a little mental.

How often do you let him out for some exercise?

He gets out every day, anytime he glass-dances, even when he starts doing this behavior.

He's out for at least 60% of the day, and when he goes back, the behavior still continues. Copper and Ruby both go in their own tanks via ramps.

60% of the day seems a bit much to be out. Your Beardie probably isn't getting enough uvb so maybe that could be the reason why it's trying to jump up at it.
