Has anyone tried felt as carpet?

Hello all- I was wondering if anyone has admitted using a large piece of felt for reptile carpet? The boys seem to be doing fine with it and their nails aren't catching on the carpet. I found this to be cheeper and pretty easy to clean. Let me know! Thanks guys. :roll:

You know what, I thank you deeply for this I never thought of that!! Its the same as reptile carpet just CHEAPER!! Great idea

interesting. i agree, it should be fine. i would just watch for pilling as it wears. i could see that fraying off and being swallowed, which may cause impaction.

Well, it is pretty cool because it is only .99 at Michael's craft store. I actually think that it is better because their nails were getting stuck in the EXPENSIVE reptile carpet.
