So my Beardie has taken no interest in her crickets today and I'm not sure if I should be worried. She ate pretty much all of her greens, but will hardly even look at her crickets. She also hasn't pooped today so could that be the culprit? She usually goes daily but it also isn't unusual for her to skip a day either.

So I guess what I want to know is should I be worried? She seems to be acting normal otherwise.

It also looks like she may be getting ready for a full body shed, but shedding hasn't ever affected her appetite before. Also she's a juvenile, about 6 months or so.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm just worried.

And of course after I posted the thread she started eating crickets. Uuugggghhhhh. I think she did that on purpose. I'm sorry guys. D: Are Beardies usually like that?

She may be getting tired of her feeders now that I think about it. Is there anything aside from crickets and dubias that I can feed her at her age? I've considered phoenix or super worms, but I don't think she's big enough for those yet.

Superworms are probably too large, but Phoenixworms are smaller and a good protein option. Rotating the veggie selection often will help keep her interest too.

I'll definitely look into picking up some Phoenix Worms then. :D As for greens and veggies I usually switch it up with greens, but her overall favorite seems to be mustard greens. I still need to experiment more with veggies which I'm hoping she'll like squash. She used to love green beans, but I think she's gotten tired of them or something. So far she hates sweet things it seems, won't even touch mango, papaya, bananas, or apples.

Also I'm starting to think it may also be her way of protesting that she wants to be handled more. For the past two days she only takes interest in her crickets AFTER I've handled her for a prolonged period of time; even if she just sits there and cuddles with me most of the time. I-is that a possibility too? I know Beardies can be stubborn and have silly personalities, but I might be looking too much into this? I also usually handle her pretty often, but maybe not often enough to her liking.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
