Harness time

OK so I went to Petco yesterday and looked in their clearance bin and found a cat harness there for .60 then thought it would be good for Colasis even though it is light purple. I got home and put it on him and let my son walk around the house with him for a while and he did ok with it on. I was just wondering how snug should it be it is one that goes around the neck and stomach we did it pretty loose but he couldn't get out of it?

i think as long as he cant wiggle out of it i think its okay... phoenix can suck himself in and get out of his... i'm going to find a different one myself lol... although i must say you have given me a great idea to go to petsmart and get one for a kitty...

Kitty harnesses mght still be too big. My biggest is 22 inches and the kitty one swallowed him whole. Try the one for a ferret. Same design just a tad smaller. That's what we use around here.... With excellant results. (I even have a referee jersey one for a ferret that fits the bigger dragons perfect) I'll try to post pics of it, it's cute

I did put him in it again today and he can't get out of it, the harness is all 1 string so I can adjust the whole thing. Hopefully he wont be embaressed when I take him out on his light purple leash.

I got this one for Samson at petmountain.com but I have seen it at the chain pet stores. It is for Iguana's but it worked. Samson is pretty small still. He just got to 14 inches and i have been using this harness for about a month.

The Petco near me has that harness.. I never buy anything from there. But i do know that they have them

I use that harness for Louie. She isn't crazy about it when I try and get it on her, but she doesn't mind once it is on.

I don't know about Scorch but I really don't think Samson would even notice! LOL! I tried something like that for our guinea pig and she hated it. We had to change to the same harness we bought for Samson except it's for guinea pigs because everytime we tried to put it on her she squeaked like there was no tomorrow! It sounded like we were trying to kill her instead of take her outside to get fresh air! :lol: Crazy animals!!!

BTW does anyone's beardie actually walk when they are taken outside! Samson just stands there and doesn't move. How can I get him to walk?

that harness is so cute. Coasis is getting used to his I put him on it when we are in the house. I just think it would be so fun to take him for a walk in the summer and have people stare at us like what is that you have on a leash. I know the apt. complex we live in does not use pet friendly fertlizer but i am trying to find out if the school by us uses it or not. would the sidewalk be safe?
