Harness for a bearded dragon

Hello again
I had been looking up supplies for a bearded dragon I'm still hoping to get, and now I'm at the harnesses. I found some at Petco.com but judging by the pictures, those weren't the best quality. I then found that Chewy.com also sells those altogether with a leash, and I was just wondering if anyone has these. Are they comfortable to the dragon? The quality seems nice and I like the look, but I'm more concerned about the dragon.
If not these, what harnesses are you using for your beardies? Which lasted you the longest?

Honestly look on amazon. You'll have a decent selection and I wouldn't ever recommend someone to give their money to petco or petsmart ?

I'd just pick up some parachute cord and a spring clip and create a waist harness from it. That tends to work well. If you wish to buy one I'd check etsy for some options. The chest harnesses with the leather bit don't work very well in my experience.

I bought a very nice harness and leash from a lady I found on Etsy when Puff and Rex were little, the plan was to let them roam in the garden and back yard / front yard when they were large enough for it.

Then a new family bought the house and moved in next door who have a pack of large dogs (that I've seen chasing and catching skinks in their yard (and which often jump the fence and dig under the gates , and free roaming cat (that tortures and kills everything smaller than it in sight if it can catch it (birds, frogs, lizards ,it in it's first spring decimated my wild (friendly) skinks.
Refuse to do anything about their cat and dogs (also an issue as they menace people who visit us and back incessantly at all hours of the day and night - and they couldn't care less) - not good neighbours , in fact, I've been abused and threatened when I complained.

So I've never taken my beardies outside - too darned dangerous if they happen to slip out the harness and get under or over the boundary fence. I used to take my BTS outside on warm sunny days when I was pottering about in the flower bed and planting berry plants in the big pots. That stopped too when the pack of dogs and killer cat moved in.

No I am not going to forced out my home (which I OWN 100%) by the current bad neighbours. I live in hope that they will sell up and move somewhere else soon now their boy and girl have left school and been thrown out.

Not legal to take pet lizards out in public here in Australia so my gang have to make do with free ranging inside the house .

kingofnobbys, that's just horrible. Theoretically, though, you could try to force them out/complain to the powers-that-be aka police, saying that their dogs pose a threat to public safety and that you've been threatened.
Some neighbors can be downright horrible.

Yeah, so I was just going to put a harness on him and let him sit on me while we both bask in the sun (full-time dreamer here). Or let him run around outside on the harness.


Also.
Amazon, I noticed, has "reptile beds" (wat?) and on their pics there's a beardie wearing a collar. Can you even do that? Cause to me it seems like there's a reason they're always walked in harnesses.

Some neighbors can be downright horrible. <<< If they were tenants , I would have been able to get rid of them by complaining to their landlord (often).
The cops aren't interested (unless the dogs bite or savage someone - is too bloody late then IMO), nor is the local council unless the dogs are caught out and about by the ranger, and as far as their free ranging cat is concerned, I've trapped it once, the council ranger came and took it away, but it was back that very afternoon....

I have used a hip harness with Dixie works well and is safe. It was a life saver when she was little because she liked to jump off things etc... and always had her by her leash.

Now her leash is made of leather
