Hi, my bearded dragon has been very very inactive he will basically hide in his hiding spot all day he won't move around to eat his locusts outside his tank, he won't eat any veggies he hasn't had a bowl movement in days and i do give him a bath but still nothing and he does eat about 5 locusts everyday but after that he will just stop moving find somewhere in the room and stop lay there and basically go to sleep even if more locusts are right in his face he will only bask for like a few minuets after eating them when i put him back in his viv then go right to his hide spot and do nothing i'm getting worried i know its not brumation as he went through that from October last year to February this year so he hasn't that long come out of it, and his temps are fine around 100-105 his uvb bulb is new since christmas and its a 12% T5 arcadia light i can't understand he was always active and now nothing oh and he 1.5 year old.
any help would be very appricated
Thankyou

is the bulb the recommended distance from the tank floor?

you may have to remove the hide and force him to get the light. my oldest is the same age and i have gone through this, or still am.

when he goes under his log, we take him and put him on top, he needs to bask to digest. if he keeps going under the log we take it out of the cage.

when you give him warms baths try massaging his belly, gently working from the top to the bottom.

Hi, thanks for your reply yeah the bulb is about 15 inches from the floor and when he goes on his log he will be around 10 to 12 inches away as i was told to do so as the T5 bulbs are alot stronger he had his first bowl movement yesterday since days ago and there was loads of it so that was a good sign i took his hide out yeaterday afternoon and for the rest of the day he was basking and laying on his log getting the uv light like he used to so thats great to see, then today he has eaten 10 morio worms and even eaten some of his veggies and he has been basking all day and laying on his log and been very active running around outside of his tank when i let him roam around so what you said to do has worked i will keep the hide out for a few days put it back in and if he goes back to hiding if he does i will keep taking it out and outting it in till he hopefully gets the idea lol, Thanks for your help much appreciated :)

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
