Hi i was considering switching to using a halogen bulb cause my tank seems a bit dull and was wondering what kina socket you use for the bulbs? cause halogen bulbs usually have 2 pins on the bottom dont they rather than a screw. I found a zoo-med(i think) halogen screw in which i could just use in the dome i have at the moment but its like £15 not including delivery.

Thanks.

If you're getting it for just lighting purposes, you will want to go with either a compact or tube. They give off the least amount of heat. The halogen bulbs (even more so with the zoo med type) crank out heat, with an ok amount of light.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
