Gutloading my way??

Im a little weary of prepared cricket food, so ive taken it upon myself to just feed Brians crix what id feed him.

Collard greens, potatoes, carrots, dandilion....The works. The crix really do take to it all. When i feed them to Brian i just dust them off with his supplements and im done with it.

Who else goes about things this way? I find its working for me...But could this be the best plan of action?

Anyone know of major cons?

crix will eat just bout anything and if you give them the same as your beardie eats it can only be good.

good question, i was thinking about doing the same thing. i bought the Fluker's Orange stuff but the crix are blazing through it!

Indeed, I make it a habit to feed the crickets what beardie refuses to eat (greens, vegetation of any type!!!). At least the crickets like it, and will pass it on to beardie... picky little princess that she is...

We use the flukers cubes as well, and some beardie pellets (sheesh, I paid the money for them, someone ought to enjoy them!). :wink:

yeah i feed my crix all the stuff my beardies eat, but i also feed the Flukers calcium enriched cricket food. Its actually pretty cheap, and now that i buy crix by the thousand i need alittle extra stuff to feed them.
