does anyone here have any experience with or knowledge of grubco.com? i just found out that they are close enough to me that i can go pick up my superworms instead of paying so much for shipping and finding half of them doa. thanks.

i havent used them but in the sugar glider hobby, people really like the company. not that thats any help from someone that doesnt buy from them, but they are raised on safe bedding i believe and i'd go for it since its so close and the worms dont go through different hands than the source.

yeah, that's my thought, too. shipping in summer is worse for the worms than winter shipping, i think.

I agree. I wish i had a supplier near me, especially the source supplier, not a petstore etc. I hate shipping charges and my mailman thinks im nuts. the last time i ordered mealies some got lose and he about had a fit LOL. I think most of my packages are inventory for my website store comign up, but he thinks that they are feeders and hands them over as quick as possible. Its almost hilarious. I'm a girl and you'd think a man could handle a mealworm now and again. But goes with the saying "takes a woman to do a man's job" sorry guys! :laughing6: (p.s. we need the hide behind the couch icon smiley :lol: )
