growth rate

Just wondering if my bearded is growing about right. Currently he is 7 months old. I weighed him today and he was 157g and 14 inches long. He is a male. When I first got him he was 6 inches long and I think about 7g. He also refuses to eat any greens or vegies I put in the tank. He is housed ina 40gallon breeder has MVB for basking. I do dust his food. Temps in the basking is 108 and shade is 80. Also he is getting his nice black beard coming in as well.

How often are you feeding him bugs? And what kind of bugs?

He gets fed every day and he is eating dubia roaches.

What kind of veggies have you tried? Also, It doesn't sound bad for growth. In another post, I read that someone feeding dubias from a hatchling went got to 20 inches in 6 months. Mine is about 10 months, and he is only 15 inches. But I was feeding him wrong. How many dubias does he eat in day?

Depending on the size, he is downing about 20-25 a day. I have tried all types of greens and carrots, but he just walks over looks at them and goes back to his basking spot..lol

Growth raits are varied. bearded dragons grow at there own pace so you can never be to sure sam way as some get very big and some dont. there are alot of other factors that change things as well, like lighting food calcium tempetures as well as long as you are doing all things right there is now wory about it he will grow when he grows. There is a few growth charts on Beautiful dragons.

It all depends on his genetics. Seems like a normal growth rate for a dragon that will top out at the 17-18 inch mark as an adult. They dont all get huge because of some of the practices used in many breeding programs, but seems like a healthy weight for his size to me.
