Hi, I bought my beardie from petsmart on Oct 4th 2018. I'm not sure how big it was when I bought it but I measured and weighed it on Nov 20th. It weighed 10g and was 6 3/4 inches long. I weighed and measured it again today and weight was 19g and length was 8 inches from nose to tail tip. I'm not sure how old my beardie was when I bought it either. I've had it for almost 3 months now so I'm think it is 4-5 months old. Is this a normal size for a beardie of this age? It is both active and alert, and has an appetite. It eats mostly BSFL with a few dubia daily, around 30-40 total daily. I offer more feeders but 40 is the most it will eat in a day. Dubia are dusted with calcium with D3 5 days a week and all feeders dusted with vitamins 2 days a week. I offer salad daily with a staple of greens and squash, and add different veggies. I give it a soak every other day as well.
My setup is a 40 gallon breeder, screen top, mounted Reptisun 10.0 HO T5, exo terra basking bulb 100 watt, tile substrate, 102-108 degrees on basking spot surface measured with temp gun, acurite thermometer on each side of tank, 90-95 degrees on warm wide, 75-80 degrees on cool side, humidity runs 21-30 on warm side.
