Dave here! Greetings from Tigard/Portland, OR.
I bought a beardie a few days ago, he's already blowing up and eating me out of house and home.
I don't use forums very often, but I'll upload some photos and try to think of a few inspiring quotes for a signature.
Some info on my beardie:
Name: Staff Sergeant Reginald Beardstrom Scalybritches, Rincewind for short. (Full name is original, nickname is for the reluctant "wizzard" in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.
Age: the guy at the pet store told me he was three months
Size: Body size is already about 5 inches nose to tail base, tail adds about 6 inches
Very friendly, very hungry, will eat greens out of my hand but prefers crickets in a small feeder box
I shared a veiled chameleon with a housemate years ago, the personality differences between the chameleon and the beardie are crazysauce.
