Ok, well I've taken some time off on the beardeds (didnt get rid of them, still have them, but just havent been pushing the breeding like I was before). Anyhow I've been focusing my time more on the unusual lizards I like and keep, and I'm happy to say soo far its been great.. here are some of the fruits of our labor...

Those are all too cool!!! The green is amazing. I love the baby picture on the tip of the finger! The Chamaeleolis Porcus' proportions made me giggle. His head is pretty monstrous and he seriously looks like a dinosaur...

Your scaly critters are just amazing!

Sweet photos. I have to say that Abronia Graminea is the most striking in my opinion. Are the more "terrarium ornaments" or can they be handled as easily (and as stress-free) as beardies?

Abronia aren't very "hands" on animals... they're great to look at, and watch them just move around there cages. They do not like being handled let alone grabbed... they have a strong bite for such little guys. I would somewhat consider they're housing requirements like mountane chamaeleons, they need air circulation, humidity, and plenty of plants and branches to climb around..

Price tag varies... between $500-$1200ea

This pictures show our large setups that house 1.1 pairs.. the bottome ones house single individual animals. (these pics are old, so they dont show the bromelids and ferns that are now in the cages)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
