I was wondering if you guys know the best place to get crickets online, cause im tired of paying $7 for every 6 dozen, and it would be great to just buy 250 or 500. And how hard is it to keep like 500 crickets alive, cause my beardie usualy eats like a dozen or 2 a day so...yea, any ideas for places, or even a better feeder for a 5 month old beardie

Ive been very pleased with buying my crickets from fluker farms. They always ship on time and they can help when the weather gets cold be either covering cricket costs if you get all DOAs or by holding the order until it warms up.

Very very good for me.

I just wish they would carry more bugs to feed my dragon.

As far as keeping crickets a simple 10 gallon tank with screen mesh lid will do just fine. you can feed mutiple food items and provide water in different ways. I feed cricket food dry and cube from flukers and I also feed potatos and provide a cricket drink for them. as long as temps dont get below 50-60 in your house the crickets will thrive very well.

Good luck.

Look on google for cricket 'farms' that are near you. I'm in California and use http://www.lllreptile.com which sells me 1000 crix for $21 (that includes shipping).. Keeping 500 crix alive is very manageable. I prefer using tote bins (Target, Walmart) and are very cheap. $15 - 20. I can't remember what size mine is but it's about 25 gallons and works great for 1000 crickets. Just provide food, moist sponge, and of course egg cartons so they don't kill each other :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
