Hey guys,

I just got a good deal on a 40g breeder tank for 40 bucks in my neighborhood on the internet!!! I am so excited! The thing is, it comes with a undertank heater. Is that good for my beardie? OR should i remove it? If i keep it, will it give my beardie burns on its belly?

I wouldn't use the UTH to be safe. A 40 gallon breeder is not hard to heat properly, so you really shouldn't need it anyways.
Stay on the safe side; just say no the the UTH.

Also, quick question. I am planning to get the megaray MVB for this new tank. I heard that I will need to get a deep dome fixture for it?

I found a deep dome, but I'm not sure if its adequate for the megaray. For those who have a megaray, is this good enough as a fixture for it?

Yes, I have a deep dome for my megaray, its perfect to use. I got a lamp stand with mine, too; it just makes my life easier to not have to move the lamp to open the cage.
