Good Air Freshnener (crickets smell)

My beardie's crickets have been stinking up my room, and I was wondering if anyone knew of some air freshening spray or plug-in that is safe for one bearded dragon, crickets, a small scorpion, and a toad? Thanks for the help.

I would definitely not put anything with any chemicals inside the tank that does not have a known reptile logo on it, e.g. Zilla, ZooMed, etc. An alternative would be to burn a candle perhaps or even get some incense, but put it away from the cage so the smoke doesn't go near the dragon. Smoke is very bad for any animal, even humans, so stick it somewhere where it's ventilated--but since you're in a small room this may be a chore. I would say get some plug-in air fresheners and try them in your room and just see if it helps the problem.

I wasn't going to spray/put anything in the tank, just in the open room. I've moved the crickets into the garage for now, I'll get a plug-in tomorrow.

I wouldn't spray anything in the room, but that is just my opinion. I haven't found an air freshener yet that can drown out the cricket smell, but I haven't tried the plug-ins yet. Since my critters are in a porch that was converted into a room (with no A/C or heat vents) I open the windows when I get home to let out the stink. That is the best thing that has worked so far.

Best thing is to keep them in a spare room or invest in one of those ion air purifies. I don't think spraying anything in a small room would be a good move and plug ins make very little scent.

I would not spray anything (just seems like too much scent/moisture/chemicals/etc) but I did want to share this product, Scenteggs, from Bath & Body Works. We have this relatively near to the tank with absolutely no ill effects. It is not a strong scent but it works perfectly to mask out yuckiness (not just from the tank but from the room in general). Since it sits on a desk, the scent doesn't go up and into the tank, where a spray mist might come down into the tank.

That one doesn't seem to be refillable, but the one we have is. It's like the perfect spot between a room spray and a wall plug.
